The UN Charter Trail is a 3-mile Heritage Trail and Living Monument to commemorate the birth of the United Nations in San Francisco.

• The creation, installation and maintenance of the seven bronze plaques: a serial monument to commemorate the founding of the United Nations in San Francisco. Locations of the 7 heritage sites are: Grace Cathedral, the Fairmont Hotel, UN Plaza, the SF Public Library, City Hall, SF Opera House, and Herbst Theatre. All played a vital role in the founding of the UN.

• The creative development of the self guided tour, a 24/7 seamless educational journey and inspirational experience for ages 9-99.

• As your participation helps us make the UN Charter Trail an official trail recognized by the City of San Francisco and the United Nations. This is a trail for: We the Peoples, for the City of San Francisco and the United Nations. The UNCT connects peoples to each other, to San Francisco and to the United Nations.
